Well, I don’t need back to school clothes anymore…as I’ve been out of college since 2001 (yikes!), but Fall is always a nice time to get a few new pieces to freshen up my wardrobe.
I like to focus on warm and cozy, since I live in Iowa and the weather gets very cold here by the end of Fall and into Winter. Even though I want the clothes to help guard me from the falling temps, I also try to get pieces that are stylish and will help me to feel my best!
I ran into Walmart the other day and was so pleased with all of the great women’s clothing I found. I was able to buy a few, not only, comfy, but cute tops, a pair of black jeggings, and a beautiful patterned dress that I can’t wait to wear!
The best part about all of the clothes? Each piece is budget-friendly! When you have the right clothing items, it’s possible to look great without spending a ton of money.
The older I’ve gotten, the more I’ve realized that when you look good, you feel good. This isn’t a statement about beauty or about having all the best things, but, instead, about caring enough about yourself to put some effort into your appearance. I am much more productive when I take the time to get ready for the day—bonus points if I do my hair and makeup.
I hope you care enough to put in a bit of effort too—you owe it to yourself. If your Fall wardrobe is looking a little sad, it’s time to invest in yourself—I promise you’ll feel so much better if you do!
Do you have a favorite piece of clothing from what I shared?
