Decorating for Fall-Creating a Cozy Home!

As sad as it makes me to see Summer go, I am always excited to get our house ready for Fall! There is something about the cooler tems (and trips to the pumpkin patch) that just make you want to get cozy! Walmart is making it easy, and on-trend, to decorate for Fall this year, with the look of high-end pieces, without the price tag!

I love when trends align with design styles that I love. Right now, warmer colors, wood tones, and a bit of Southwest design are having a moment—and I’m here for it! All of those elements create an instantly cozy feeling—that’s exactly what we want for Fall!

Walmart has such a great variety of pieces that include all of the cozy Fall feels and are perfectly on-trend, but also have a timeless feel. I love trends, but try to stay away from any that seem too fleeting or that are too expensive. The Fall Home Lookbook from Walmart is full of home decor, furniture, and accents that feel fresh, but many of them are classic enough that they will stand the test of time. I was definitely able to find a couple of things…and have my eyes on a few more! I’ve wanted the Thyme & Table Dinnerware forever and finally ordered it! 12 beautiful place settings that I can’t wait to get styled on my kitchen open shelves…and start plating our meals on!

I also bought the Rest Haven Tufted Faux Leather Headboard in Camel. We have never had a headboard in the 18 years that we’ve been married, so I’m extra excited about this one!!

This headboard is everything I wanted it to be! It warms up our bedroom so much and adds the perfect amount of style. I also like that it helps to tone down the pink that I have in the space, helping it to not be too feminine.
