I have been on a health journey for the last several years, but it hasn’t been until this year that I’ve really started to get serious about it. I’ve had some health issues pop up that stopped me in my tracks, making me want to get a lot more serious about how I’m taking care of myself. I’m hoping to share more on that sometime in the future, but for now, know that I’m doing a lot better and am so happy I’m making big changes toward better health!
One of the areas that I hadn’t really tackled, in terms of my health, was in the beauty products I use. Like you may be, I have been stuck in my ways and was comfortable using certain products. I knew how they worked, how they looked on me, and for a lot of them, I liked the price tag.
I’m learning, however, that when it comes to our health, if we don’t pay the price now, we will later. It is so clear now that I need to invest in prodcuts that are good for me…not just ones that are cheap or that I’ve used forever.
So, I finally took the plunge a few months ago, to throw away all of my toxic skin care and makeup products and go all-in with Beautycounter! One of the biggest hurdles I had to getting into Beautycounter was not knowing where to start. So, I decided to take all those lessons my aestetician had tried to teach me about skin care and put it into action. If your skin isn’t healthy, your makeup won’t look good—so I bought skin care products first!
Once I started using the Beautycounter skincare products, I was hooked. They are so luxurious and make my skin feel amazing. I’ve been using them for several months now and can already notice a difference in how my skin looks and feels.

As an entrepreneur, I struggle to get ready a lot of days. I get started on work and the next thing I know, the day is over and I haven’t even showered yet—one of the hazzards of work from home life. With my new Beautycounter products, though, I actually look forward to getting ready and try to put more of a focus on it daily. Turns out, I feel so much better about myself when I do this!
