I had the opportunity to make the honey butter corn for my father in law last week and I was sweating it. I mean, I find the corn to be delicious…but what if he did not share my sentiments? Also, side-bar…he does not mess around. If he does not like something, he is not going to pretend.

Well, my one mistake was not making enough of the corn dish. My husband had been staying there for the week, helping to take care of my father in law after knee surgery, and when he suggested they have the rest the next night, his dad told him to maybe save it for another night…because he wanted it for himself. Ha!
One tester down and one to go. I still have not had the opportunity to make the honey butter corn for my friend Jill, but I am just waiting for it. I know she will love it. What is not to love? Corn—yum! Honey—delicious! Butter—my favorite! Cream cheese—makes everything better!
