Matte Black Hardware + Finishes

When I talk to clients about simple updates for their home, one of the first things we cover is hardware and finishes. This can be anything from cupboard knobs to lighting to door handles. A trend I’m loving in 2018 for hardware and lighting finishes is matte black. It’s a fresh twist on a classic and goes well with several different styles! If you’re thinking about making some updates to your home, this can be a way to get a more current look without doing major renovations. You can start with small touches and add as you go; unlike trying to mix metals, this is a more forgiving finish to blend with what you currently have.
