Light and Bright Master Bedroom Makeover

So many times, our master bedrooms get put on the back burner. Life gets busy, budgets get in the way, and let’s be honest…guests aren’t usually hanging out in our bedrooms, so we make sure the parts of the house they do see look amazing. What about us, though…shouldn’t we have a space that looks nice and that we get to enjoy all for ourselves?

The answer is always—YES!You deserve to create a light and bright space that will be a retreat for you and encourage relaxation and renewal. Also, wouldn’t you just really like a room that makes you smile when you wake up?

I was able to help a client create just that kind of experience a while ago in her master bedroom and I still LOVE the final result! We created a light and bright style by removing a few pieces, bringing in some new furniture, painting, adding new curtain panels, creating a gallery wall, and finishing the whole look with some fresh décor + accessories.

My client now has a space that she can, for all intents and purposes, host guests in. Not sure if that’s really the point, but wowzers…this master bedroom makeover turned out great and accomplished the goal of making my client smile!
