How to Update Your Entryway
Do you ever have so many project + ideas that you end up doing none of them? Yeah…me too. I’m sharing a quick entryway update you can do in an afternoon…or about an hour if you already have the stuff!
My client’s entryway was nice, but sparse…and it was feeling a little dark + tired.
I used a couple pieces she already had and added a few new items to make the space brighter + lighter! If you have a plug-in to use…please, please, please add a lamp. Extra lighting is always a good thing and a lamp also acts as a larger piece for added visual interest.
What you’ll need to recreate this in your own home:
Console table—if you already have one, but it needs some updating…paint works wonders! If you don’t have one, you can find some of my favorites HERE, HERE, and HERE!
Mirror—This mirror is one of my faves and you can find it HERE! Plus…you can’t beat the price!
Lamp—I got the one for my client’s house at TJ Maxx (you can shop all their goodness HERE), and it’s not available online.
Vase + Filler—You can find my client’s vase HERE and similar filler HERE.
Table Runner—HERE is the one my client has, but you can find some others HERE, HERE, and HERE.
Tray—My client already had this tray and you can find it HERE.
Small Plant—I get most of my small plants at TJ Maxx.HEREis a good option.
Picture Frame—You can find the cutie my client had with ready-made art work HERE.
Décor—I added a small vase I found for less than $5 at TJ Maxx. I wanted a touch of color, so this is an easy way to add it on a budget and without it being overwhelming to the space! I found one similar HERE.
I hope this inspires you to give your entryway an afternoon update! You’ll be so happy you did!
