Alternate Uses for Decor
When you're good at something...don't hide it away!
One of my recent clients is an amazing seamstress...she is especially talented at making quilts. As soon as I saw the beautiful piles of her handiwork stashed around the house, I knew we had to use the quilts in the design of the space.

We used one draped casually over the sofa...adding a layer of color and texture.
Another quilt now lays over a straight-back chair that is beautiful in the space, but shows some love bites from one of the clients' dogs.

My favorite project from this particular restyle is the display we created, incorporating the client's quilts, her love of color...and showcasing her fun and spunky personality! The different colored hooks all tell a different story and allow us to easily change out the quilts, either seasonally or to alter the feel of the space!

One passion: three ways! This space shows how versatile an item can be as decor...and how much color and texture it can add.
