5 Christmas Gift Guides for 2018

Hello, friends! The Christmas shopping season is here, and I don’t know if you’re like me…but I may or may not have a few more things I need to buy for my people. I thought I’d help you out and share some of my favorite ways to find the perfect gift! Did you know that just about every media platform shares a gift guide (myself included—want to see the most recent ones? You can find themHEREandHERE)? I find them super helpful because I’m able to see what’s popular across the board…as well as, find some unique items I wouldn’t have known about otherwise.

Here are a few of the gift guides I’ve been looking at this holiday season…hopefully you’ll find them helpful too!

  1. TRAVEL IOWA —Now, I’m partial to this one, of course, because it’s all made-in-Iowa products! I love my state and am convinced we have some of the most talented folks around…including, my friend Michelle at Dirt Road Candle Co., who just happens to have made it into this guide! (You can find her HERE.)

  2. TARGET—Basically, Target is the bees knees. Add to it that you can have items delivered to the store for free and pick up when it works for your schedule…game changer. How much more wonderful could shopping your favorite store be? Pick out and buy the gifts for everyone on your list, go pick them up from the store, buy a Starbucks coffee, shop for yourself. Winning!

  3. COUNTRY LIVING MAGAZINE—This is no ordinary gift guide…it’s a compilation of so many different guides! No matter who you’re shopping for this season, Country Living Magazine has you covered…and then some! There are gifts you buy and gifts you can make…depending on how creative you’re feeling.

  4. BETTER HOMES & GARDENS MAGAZINE—I love all the handmade and personal gift ideas Better Homes & Gardens offers! Sometimes there are certain people on your gift list that are tough to buy for, or maybe the budget is a little tight this year. Whatever your reason, there are so many handmade gift ideas in this guide…you’ll be sure to have fun creating and giving!

  5. THE NEW YORK TIMES—There’s nothing else to say about this guide, other than the folks at The New York Times have gone above and beyond, collecting ideas for every taste, style, and price-point imaginable. The hardest part will be deciding what to get!

I hope you’ll find these Christmas gift guides helpful and are able to cross a few items off your Christmas shopping lists! And maybe, just maybe, you’ll find a couple things for yourself. You deserve it, after all! Happy shopping!
